Solar

The solar array at our Abatti farming headquarters was installed in 2015. This massive array helps power our forage & seed operations as well as the Abatti Companies corporate headquarters.

LNG Trucks

The Abatti Companies have been utilizing a fleet of liquefied natural gas (LNG) powered trucks since 2010 for their farming and feeding operations. This has resulted in a reduction of over 1 million gallons of diesel consumption. Currently, we operate 2 LNG filling stations to strategically supply our trucking fleet.

Water Conservation

Water is essential to our 10,000-head American Wagyu herd. Significant investment has been made to utilize this precious resource efficiently. Usage is continuously filtered and monitored. Currently, our farms are mitigating water back to other municipalities.

Bees

Megachilidae Rotundata or “leafcutting bees” are utilized to naturally increase yield in our farming operations.

Soil Management

Our farming and ranching operations are getting ready for the 5th generation of the Abatti family, utilizing the most sustainable soil management practices.

Natural Pest Management

Our feed yard uses natural pest management by employing parasitic wasps, which are crucial for regulating fly control and creating a healthy environment.
